Account Analysis provides additional service charges based on account activities versus available balances. Primarily used for the Commercial Customer, charges may include monthly maintenance fee, as well as individual charges for credit, checks, items deposited, ACH items, Stop Pay, Request statements, and Inquiry Fees. Banks can define Transaction Codes for their own usage. Examples would be straps and coins, deposit corrections, and collection fees. Banks can have multiple routines to allow service to different styles of commercial customers. Account Analysis may be used to actually service charge the customer or to be reviewed only, in which case the customer would still be charged through the regular service charge routine.
