McM Company History

McCoy Myers and Associates was formed in April of 1980 as a partnership between Roger McCoy and Terry Myers in Amarillo, Texas.  Originally a computer consulting company for general business, the company quickly focused on software for the banking community.

  • In 1981, the partnership was converted to a corporation.
  • In 1992, the company opened a data center in Fort Worth, Texas.
  • In 1995, McCoy and Myers sold to the company to ACS (Affiliated Computer Systems) of Dallas, Texas.  ACS converted its Waco data center to McM software.
  • In August of 1996, a group of banks purchased the company (including the Waco data center) and formed a Bank Service Corporation.
  • In January of 1999, the Amarillo data center was opened, initially processing eight banks.
  • On November 1, 2005, McCoy Myers was purchased by CSI (Computer Services Inc.) of Paducah, Kentucky.

The company is fortunate to have strong consistent senior management.  Roger McCoy has led the company for nearly 26 years with the help of Jim Ferguson and Dona McCoy for 20 years.

With business philosophies such as one-time license fees, flat-fee service bureau pricing, and annual enhancements, the lure of being a long-term customer of McCoy Myers is obvious. Being sensitive to customers' needs has contributed to our success.

Focusing on what we do best, McCoy Myers is dedicated to maintaining the backbone of your application needs: core processing. Our goal is to provide the very best software and support necessary to run your bank. By providing a complete User's List to any prospective customer and encouraging the prospect to speak with current customers, McCoy Myers demonstrates our confidence in our ability to satisfy customers.
